Attention LEADERS, ROVERS & VENTURERS with a current Level 2 Canoe or Kayak Skill Qualification who want to upgrade that qualification with the Night/Expedition Endorsement, read on:
On the weekend of October 15-16, 2011, GWS Region will be running an Endorsement trip for Leaders, Rovers and Venturers who wish to upgrade their Level 2 for expeditions with their Scouts, Rovers and Venturers. The trip will begin at Wiseman’s Ferry at 12 noon on Saturday 15th October and conclude on Sunday 16th October around 1pm at the start point. We will be camping overnight at Rosevale Caravan & Camping Grounds at Wiseman’s Ferry. A1 and Payment of $43.00 which includes the course fee and the camping fee are due at the Region Office by 30 September 2011. This expedition will be our test run for ongoing courses, so get in early to book your place. You will need to bring your own boat, camping gear, cooking gear and food for this hike. Please refer to the Water Activities calendar for the A1 and supporting documents. Please read all information carefully.
