This is a two day course.

Locations:
Saturday 6 March:  Meet at Pierces Pass top car park on the Bell Road at 9 am.
Sunday 7 March:  Meet at the bottom of Cathedral Reserve, 1 km past Mt. Wilson at 8.30 am.
 
Camping is available at Cathedral Reserve and is free.
 
A pre-requisite for this course is the Abseiler qualification.
Successful completion of this course earns the Canyoner qualification.
 
Bring lunch, water, raincoat if it looks like rain.  Carry this in a day pack inside a dry bag or plastic bags.
A wet-suit is good to have - otherwise a thick woollen jumper.

Necessary pre-requisite for this activity:  Caver qualification.
 
Location:
Bendethera Caves, south of Braidwood.  Meeting will be at 9 am on Saturday 20 March about one hour's drive south of Braidwood, at the start of the 4WD road.  Transport will be combined here into 4WD vehicles.  Camping is available here for those wishing to travel down on the Friday night.  The activity will finish about 4 pm on the Sunday at the same location.

Successful completion of this activity will qualify a Scout for the Abseil Proficiency Badge.
 
Theory night will be on a Scout meeting night in the week before 28 March.  Will advise when we finalise the location most suitable to most applicants.
 
Please wear closed-in shoes.  Bring a hat (optional), sunscreen (optional) and raincoat (if it looks like rain).  Bring your own lunch, snacks and drinking water.
 
The activity starts at 9 am and finishes at 4 pm.

The 60th Sirius Cup Regatta

What is it?

• a chance for Scouts, Venturers and Leaders to get together at a camp based around water activities
• 
  the Scout Groups camp on Balmoral Oval, just a hop, skip and a jump from the waters of Middle Harbour, as a tent city comes to life from Friday afternoon
• 
  Scouts come from all around including interstate, Lake Burley Griffin and Lake Tuggeranong from the ACT, from the north (Belmont North, the Hunter and Coastal team, Ourimbah), from the west (Penrith) and from the south (Gerringong).

• the Sirius Cup Regatta is the premier Scout sailing regatta on the Branch calendar and it is held annually
