After the Training Teams recent visits to Vanuatu to Train their Leaders some specific needs have been identified by Carol Cope and the Teams who accompanied her.

I now ask for your support in helping to equip them with the resources that will enable them to enjoy this great game of Scouting. Could you please canvas your Region / Teams and see if we can obtain any of these items :

CUB SCOUT:

• Badges for Adventure 1995,
• Cub Scout Leaders Handbook 1988,1992,1995
• Old Programming books or Games Books.

SCOUTS:

• Australian Field Book 1984 or similar
• Old versions of Scout Leaders Handbook 1991.
• Old Patrol Leaders Guides or any other green covered guidelines
• Old programming Books and Games Books.

VENTURERS:

• Guidelines for VS Leaders.
• Unit Programming.
• VS Award Scheme (Old version prior to current,  the Diamond Badge Scheme is what is needed)
• Old programming ideas and games.

ROVERS:

• The Rover Award Scheme
• Guidelines for Rovering
• The Crew and its Program.
• Games and Activity and Programming ideas.

Any Badges that support these publications especially the old Venturer Badges

Vanuatu also needs Uniforms, so now is the opportunity to send in any old Khaki uniforms, any version, even the old female Leader skirts. Belts are very popular with both Youth and Leaders. Please remove old Badges however and only leave the World Scout Badge.

If you or someone in your Region is coming to Sydney for a Jamboree meeting or any meeting could they bring it with them to be taken to State Office.

Your support in the past for our requests to support a developing Scouting Community have been most generous and gratefully received. NSW Scouting has a long and proud history in the Asia Pacific Region of developing and supporting the development of Scouting.
