The 23rd World Scout Jamboree will be held in Japan in 2015. The Jamboree will be held in Kirara-hama, Yamaguchi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan from Tuesday 28 July to Saturday 8 August 2015. The Australian Contingent will also be coordinating an extended tour of Japan as well as home hospitality with local Scouting families. Expressions of interest are now being accepted via the Contingent website at www.wsj2015.scouts.com.au The website contains a huge range of information about the event and all youth members are encouraged to read about the activities that will be on offer as part of this experience. A World Scout Jamboree is a once in a lifetime experience and a huge highlight for all participants. As such, it is important to start thinking about this event early and to begin fundraising as soon as possible.
