Once again, Rovers from NSW have been asked for assistance with a variety of roles for the Sydney activities for Anzac Day. I understand that many Crews are involved at a local level, and I value the importance of this. If you are not however involved at your local commemoration, we would appreciate your presence at the City activities outlined below:

Our roles include:

Dawn Service
- Escorting & Ushering VIP’s

- Forming of colour guard

It is requested that Rovers start to arrive around 3am on Saturday 25th April to assist with the set-up of the Cenotaph in Sydney's Martin Place.
When you arrive, please find me (Nick Wolf) and I'll advise what is still in need of doing.

City March
- Information Booths
- Golf cart drivers / Movement of fatigued marchers
- Marcher Registration
- Rosemary Distribution

Assistance for all of these roles is required. Times vary for each of these roles, so even if you are only able to help out for a defined time period, your help will still be appreciated. We are always looking for people to assist. If you would like to be involved, or know of any Venturers, Rovers, Fellowship or Leaders who are looking for something to do, simply contact me.

If you happen to be in the city, and wanting to be involved but haven’t organised anything, I will be standing at the NE corner of Martin Place and Pitt St. I will also be on mobile – 0413 221 296.

Members participating in any of the tasks are to wear the new uniform consisting of the blue shirt, light coloured trousers (beige or fawn etc.) and black or tan shoes.

Uniforms must be cleaned and pressed, shirts tucked in at the waist and scarves neatly rolled. Not only will all participants be viewed by the crowds attending the activities, but TV coverage will be State wide and in some cases Nationally. The organisers will have no hesitation asking participants not to be involved if they are not in correct uniform or are acting inappropriately (this includes the consumption of alcohol).

To register for any of these positions, or to ask any questions, please contact me on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or 0413 221 296
