SC&T Region Weekend Wide Game - November 2010 (Update) Print E-mail

With a successful WWG South behind them, the Rovers of the SC&T Region are now gearing up for their next widegame event. November 20-21 will see our event return to Cataract for WWG X (“World of Scoutcraft”) and the 10th year of WWG on the South Coast.

Forms for WWG X are now available at http://www.widegame.com.au/ . Follow the “WWG X” link at the top of the page to get the details.

For our 10th Anniversary, the WWG team has come up with a variation on a popular MMORPG - pitting Horde against Alliance in a battle for control over the land. With inclusion of dragons, isolated villages, trapped tombs, Black Knights, and the ever-popular Gold Farm, we’ve done our best to ensure as many hackneyed plot devices and stereotypes as possible have been crammed into one weekend. Those long-term attendees nursing grudges against the ever-enthusiastic Venturer “Death Squads” should also take note – this year sees a chance for payback!

Please be aware that we have limited slots available, so make sure you register your Patrols early. A number of places have been reserved for both local and out-of-region troops, but this only applies on entries received before the 5th November. Entries received after this date will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but only if places remain.

See you on the weekend!

Yours in Scouting,
Andrew Clark
Rover Adviser (Widegame)
SC&T WWG Committee
