Events organised by the NSW Scouts ‘Special Needs Team’ are open to ALL Scouts, Guides and Leaders (in ALL Sections), especially to those with special needs.
Friday 2 to Tuesday 6 October
“ALL THE FUN OF THE FAIR” AGOONORETTE
at Kum Ba Yah Guide campsite, Mt. Keira, near Wollongong
(Early arrivals from 4pm, Friday 2 October; last departures by 3pm on Tuesday 6 October). $120 for youth members; $100 for leaders and other helpers. Day rates are negotiable.
There will be a wide range of fun activities, including an on-site ‘Day at the Fair’ on Sunday 4 October –side show alley, clowning, juggling, hoops, stilts, tight rope walking, acrobatics, magic, animal farm. This is also a Visitors’ Day (including for Joeys and Cubs) – cost is $5 for day visitors, which includes a badge and activities. BYO lunch.
Other activities during the camp will include a day outing to Jamberoo Action Park, crafts, bushwalk, ‘Music Man/Rocket Man’, Games Night, Campfire Night, Movie Night, and much more…
This is a tent camp. Participants will need to arrange their own tentage, though this can be organised if required. There is some indoor accommodation for those who require it. All meals are included and catered. There will be a roster for helping.
