Rover Scouts are the oldest youth section of Scouting, for people aged 18 to 25 years. In the Greater Western Sydney Region, we have 9 crews/units spreading from the Hills District all the way to the Blue Mountains. A Rovers program can encompass a variety of challenging activities involving:
- the outdoors (e.g. bushwalking, canoeing, canyoning, four-wheel-driving)
- creativity (e.g. Gang Show, artistic endeavours)
- personal growth
- and community involvement.
Additionally, through involvement in Rover Scouts, individuals are able to immerse themselves in activities that lead to social, physical, intellectual, character, emotional, and spiritual development.
Rover Scouts strive to live up to the Rover Motto: “Service” by providing many forms of service to the Scouting community and also the wider community.
