Youth Leadership Course (April 2013)

Please be advised that a youth leadership course is coming up.

Saturday 6th April 2013
Bundilla Scout Camp
8am to 4pm
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea supplied.
Wear full uniform.
Bring notebook and pen and a game to play.

Further details:

The role of the Youth Helper is to assist and provide support to the Mob, Pack or Troop.
 
Youth Helpers may be a member of a Venturer Scout Unit, a Rover Crew, or recruited from outside the movement – in which case an application for membership form must be completed.
 
Application to become a Youth Helper within a Group must be assessed by the Group Council and supported by the Joey Scout,Cub Scout or Scout Leader and approved by the Group Leader.
 
Aged at least 14½ years to assist in the Joey Scout and Cub Scout Sections. Aged at least 15½ years to assist in the Scout Section.
 
Youth Helpers must be under the age of 18 years, or a member of a Rover Crew

Rover Youth Helpers are also able to help in the Venturer Scout Sections
 
Consideration needs to be given to applying for a role as an Adult Leader when the Youth Helper turns 18 years of age.
